The BALKHOORMA Company started its operation in 2016, and in 2022, as a result of the ABDF’s support, it built one of the largest plants for drying and processing persimmons in the region. The raw material for the production is obtained from the local persimmon gardens. The plant is equipped with all the necessary automated equipment and is fully adapted to modern standards, consisting of washing, peeling, cooling and packaging shops. Since Azerbaijan is in the top five in the world for the production of persimmons, the fruit reserves are more than enough for both local sales and export. Thanks to the cooperation with AIC, new product innovations such as chocolate-covered persimmons, dried kiwi, plums, apples, strawberries were added to the production. BALKHOORMA LLC has reached the markets of Germany, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, and Malaysia and presented this exotic taste of Azerbaijan to foreign buyers. The Company's goal is to deliver organic and healthy products to each buyer with a product range in more countries.
