An exchange of views was held on the current status and future plans of the pharmaceutical plant project implemented with Türkiye's "GEN İlaç ve Sağlık Ürünleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş." company.

Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with Abidin Gülmüş, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Türkiye's "GEN İlaç ve Sağlık Ürünleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş." company. The meeting discussed the development prospects in the pharmaceutical industry in our country and the importance of the implemented projects.

The parties exchanged views on the current status and future plans of the pharmaceutical plant project implemented within the framework of the joint activities.

The meeting reviewed future cooperation directions, plans for increasing production potential, the application of innovative approaches, and further development of the pharmaceutical sector in Azerbaijan.

It is noteworthy that the construction of the pharmaceutical production facility of "Gen Pharma Caucasus Manufacturing Operations" LLC is ongoing in the Pirallahı Industrial Park, which specializes in the pharmaceutical industry in our country. The project is being implemented jointly by the Azerbaijan Investment Holding (through the Azerbaijan Business Development Fund under the Ministry of Economy), "GEN İlaç ve Sağlık Ürünleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş." company, and "SİA Pharmaceutical" LLC.
